Music

You can add music or any sound file to a page, and it will play automatically when the page loads in the browser. Background music is played by passing the location of an audio file to the browser audio player. The specific audio file formats supported by the browser may vary or change from time to time, but generally MIDI, Wave, AU, MP3, and AIFF file formats are supported by most browsers. MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) audio files are generally preferred for their compact file sizes.

Use the Music Tab on the Page Editor dialog box to attach a sound or music file to your page. For more information, see Page Editor Dialog Box.”

You can let your users control the playing of music or sound files through a browser-based audio player. Do this by inserting a sound file foreign object. For more information, see New Objects.
