Toolbar Options Dialog Box

You can use the Toolbar Options dialog box (right-click a toolbar or select View>Toolbar Options…) to choose which tools will appear in a toolbar, to a hide or unhide a toolbar, or to change the size of a toolbar between normal and large. (Using a large toolbar may be helpful when you are working at a high display resolution.)

The customizations, sizes, and hidden/unhidden states of all toolbars are saved to the system when you exit SiteSpinner™. They will reappear with their saved properties when you restart the program.

Use the Toolbar Options dialog box to customize SiteSpinner’s toolbars.

Controls on the Toolbar Options dialog box include the following:

Field/Control Description
Customize Click the button to the left of a selected toolbar name to open the Customize Toolbar dialog box, which you may use to choose which toolbar buttons will appear in the selected toolbar.
Show Toolbar Click to un-checkmark the option box to the left of a selected toolbar name to hide the toolbar in the Work Window. Click to checkmark the option box to unhide the toolbar.
Use Large Bar Click to checkmark the option box to the right of a selected toolbar name to enlarge the display of the toolbar in the Work Window. Click to un-checkmark the option box to display the selected toolbar sized normally.
OK Click to accept the current settings and exit the dialog box.
Close Click to accept the current settings and exit the dialog box.
Help Click to open a context-sensitive help topic.
 
Moving (Undocking) a Toolbar
  1. Locate the toolbar you want to move (undock) in the Work Window.
  2. Click the toolbar’s handle.

Undock (move) a toolbar by dragging it by its handle to a new position in the Work Window.

  1. While pressing the mouse button on the toolbar’s handle, drag the toolbar to a different position in the Work Window.
  2. When the toolbar is at the desired location, release the mouse button.
Hiding a Toolbar
  1. Right-click the mouse on any toolbar in the Work Window.

    The Toolbar Options dialog box will open.

  2. Locate the toolbar you want to hide in the Show Toolbar list.
  3. Click to un-checkmark the option box associated with the toolbar you want to hide.
  4. Click OK. The toolbar will be hidden in the Work Window.
Resizing a Toolbar
  1. Right-click the mouse on any toolbar in the Work Window.

The Toolbar Options dialog box will open.

  1. Locate the toolbar you want to resize in the Show Toolbar list.
  2. Click to checkmark the option box in the Use Large Bar list that is associated with the toolbar you want to hide.
  3. Click OK. The toolbar will appear larger in the Work Window.
